A Little Greener: The Benefits of Cloth Diapers

I will be writing a biweekly piece on GNM Parents as part of a trade with Green Options. Please visit GNM Parents and read A Little Greener: The Benefits of Cloth Diapers. While you are there, take a look around GNM Parents, “a multi-media channel featuring blogs, podcasts and video, aiming to provide a full and rich content experience for parents at all stages of parenthood. Our goal is to inform, entertain and engage the community.” I have enjoyed discovering this great site!

Yay, I’m glad that link was fixed. I wanted to read it. We cloth diaper our little ones since I’ve known for some time about the health risks. I wash them in my own homemade laundry soap and they’re hung to dry. LOL, even in the winter. The racks in the kitchen drive my poor husband up the wall. Once in a while I use a disposable but it’s always Seventh Generation or G-Diapers. I prefer Gdiapers, but they aren’t always available locally. However, I DID NOT know about the risks associated with boys and infertility although it is logical. I’ve forwarded the article to my friends.

Wow Ami, you are amazing line drying diapers in the winter! How do you get the crunchiness out from line drying? Also, I would love to know more about your homemade laundry soap.
