Hello everyone,
I would like to introduce my latest book, Gino the Minnow (www.ginotheminnow.com). Gino may be a small fish, but
he encourages us all to do our part in helping keep our
water areas clean. Children will be empowered that they too can do something about what may trouble them, no matter how small they are. My favorite environmental children’s story is “The River Ran Wild” by Lynne Cherry. Perhaps I liked it because it took place in an area that I was familiar with. I like the illustrations and the story. The 3rd graders that I have read it to have also enjoyed it.

Thanks for putting ‘The Lorax’ on top. It totally deserves it. Such a great book. And a great cartoon, too. I am always telling people to read it and/or watch it. Being from Michigan, I also like the “Lake Erie” line.
