My little girl was going to be one, and my husband was turning the 'big 3-0' soon, so I wanted to have an extra special birthday party invitations for both occasions. I spent a long time searching the internet until if found these great sites for Children Birthday Invitations, Adult Surprise Birthday Party Invitations and Personalized Birthday Invitations for Children and Adults. These sites have cute and unique birthday party invitations, and you can use my own birthday wordings with lots of sample birthday party sayings for me to use. I ordered from Cards Shoppe, and the birthday invitations cards were beautiful. Everyone loved them!

I like digital invites cos it’s so versatile and it’s really up to your imagination. We had a digital invite for my girl’s first birthday and everyone thought it was fabulous. It was done courtesy of a very talented friend. Though I must admit that year we did print it out cos we were so delighted with it and wanted something to keep. But in future I will not print for my friends who can and will check email cos they won’t keep it. It only really means the most to us.

Tha’s a beautiful invitation. I always make my own too although digital one’s don’t work for me. Not everyone I know checks their email regularly and last year no one showed up! LOL I haven’t bought commercial invites in three years when I couldn’t find any invites that I liked and discovered just what I could do with Word and Paint. IT’s just so much fun designing them yourself and knowing that it’s a one of a kind.
