Melody Harp Makes Anyone a Musician

A few years ago, we purchased a wooden Melody Makerfrom Music for Little People, a catalogue company located in a nearby town that even has its own record label. The Melody Maker is a very pleasant sounding instrument even toddlers can strum with their fingers. (I would avoid using a pick with toddlers due to the choking hazard.) The Melody Maker comes with sheet music that slides underneath the strings. Pluck the strings in the order of the notes, and voila, you have music!

I have always wanted to learn how to play a musical instrument, but I lose patience quickly and want instant music! The Melody Makergives me the instant, pleasant music I desire. It comes with 24 sheets of music (12 are Christmas songs), including childhood favorites as “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star and the Itsy, Bitsy Spider”. Now that my daughter is almost six years old, she too can play real songs on the Melody Maker, much to the delight of her little brother!

This sounds real cute and easy to use. Coincidentally I was just listening to songs on the “toddler series” of CDs that the company produces and wondering if I should check out their website for other products.
