i was actually a Loss Prevention Associate at Wal-Mart. It was my job to stop shoplifters. There were so many rules to follow and it seemed the suspects had more rights than I did. I was recently fired because I mentioned to a Pregnant customer , that it was not a good idea to drink the stolen alcohol in the store. She became enraged and because she was pregnant ,as per Wal- mart rules I didn't detain her. She became highly upset and kept saying she didn't steal anything...she didn't think drinking wine coolers counted(unpaid). I was confident that I would be ok since She was the one that broke the law and I followed the book. All my immediate managers agreed. The woman ended up calling corp and they PAID HER a sum and agreed to fire me and no there isn't something missing from the story it was just that simple Covington,Washington Wal-Mart 5073

This is not the only reason I do not shop at Wal Marts. Their treatment of women and people with disabilities. When Wal Mart comes into small towns. Everything goes out. Thank God for people in small towns where my sister lives that supports their market that has been there for years. When people are forced to get

OOOHHHH........... This just makes me so angry. I have been Wal Mart free for almost a year. The thought of Wal Mart exploiting these people to make an extra buck is just sick, especially when it's children. >:( When ever anyone tells me that they "can't afford anywhere else" I want to laugh. If a full time student on only one part time salary can afford to live without Wal Mart, then why can't someone who works full time? You just have to take better care of where and how you spend you money. In the end though, you have items that mean more to you, they're better made and last longer. I'm tired of the "Me" mentality of this country that has people buying something just to say they bought it or because of the name splashed all over it.

Is there no end to this Wal-Mart madness? They don't seem to stop. I live in a state that has no Target and the only capital city in the US that has no McDonalds... but there is still a Wal-Mart.
