"Green like a frog and a tree leaf. I love green. It's blue and yellow together and next to both in the rainbow. We should save rainbows. Yay!" My daughter is 5.

My 7 yr old sang this song to me that she learned from her Jewish school:
"Let's plant a tree. Oh let's water it, oh let's water it. Trees are blowing in the wind, whoosh! Look at the leaves, the leaves are so much bigger now. Look at the trunk. Because it's T'Bishvat. "

Then she said, "People are cutting down too many woods and trees, and endangering habitats. And quite recently, there was a forest cut down near my house, and deer came up in our yard, which never happened before. They lost their home and have nowhere to go, so some people are endangering these creature's lives and habitats."

I asked, "Aren't you glad to see the deer in your yard?"

She said, "Well it depends on how the deer feel about it."
