We can save a little energy using eco-friendly clothing made from bamboo cause bamboo:

Bamboo

- Cleans the air, Bamboo gives us clean air to breathe, consumes carbon dioxide and, because bamboo forests are so dense, returns 30% more oxygen to the atmosphere than trees. Some bamboo sequester up to 12 tons of carbon dioxide from the air per hectare.

- Requires less energy,It also requires less water to grow. It takes much less energy to grow and sustain bamboo than other similar trees and plants used for fiber production. Bamboo plantations require very little maintenance.

Can be grown without pesticides: Bamboo can be grown without pesticides or chemicals because of it's own anti-bacterial agent.

- Can be harvested sustainably: Bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants on the planet, making it a high yield renewable resource. It can be selectively harvested annually and is capable of complete regeneration without need to replant.

that why my apparel is Red Eye FrogX.

check it out, U'll love it!

I always enjoy hearing about your dinner ideas. Dinner at your house seems like so much fun! Re: laundry- I remember as a kid (6 kids+2 adults), we were not allowed to throw down clothes unless they were dirty, and jeans were worn over again for 3-7 days (unless dirty) before we were allowed to throw them down the laundry chute. Like you, my parents only turned the dryer on for X amount of time. If items were still wet, then they were hung. Makes me think about how, 30+ years ago, my parents were not thinking "green" but were basically trying to save money- because they had to.
