The child in the photograph is mine and the bottle is simply a recycled one. It is filled with plain water.

I sampled the cleaner in question when they first came on the market to write a review... decided the products weren't for us, but we did recycle the packaging because a spray bottle is a great tool!

I noticed the child in the picture is holding a bottle of cleaner with 'solvents' in it.

A MSDS is Available vis the manufactures website for this product to confirm.

Green chemistry is not always the same as safe chemistry.

Around kids use 'safety first'

I mix lemon juice and water in a 32oz bottle for my kids to use for cleaning.

Otherwise children 'SHOULD NEVER' use traditional cleaners (read label & MSDS it states it on that product).

However, there are many safe chemical free cleaners on the market... this happens to be not be one of them.

Great tips! Love the idea of getting the kids their own spray bottles and cloths and letting them go at it, and forget about perfection and focus on teaching. Reading your post made me realize that, ya know what, there really is no sense on being a crazed madwoman trying to clean a house, but rather, teach the kids how to help, be responsible for their chores and in the end, they think it IS fun (even though we don't!)
Thanks again for the informative post and fabulous ideas~
