I'd say the "wear the clothes all day" bit needs to include 'wear them more than once!' especially after the messy kid phase...(I wear jeans three times in a week sometimes, it's not like we're spilling stuff or sweating 'em out constantly, ya know?) Looks like just a cute ‘pay it forward’ idea to me, well-designed for gift giving…but ya can’t knock that either.
