There are studies that now suggest skin cancer has more to do with genetics than sun and that sun screen can be harmful to us as well as ecosystems we do not even know we are hurting. While no one wants a sunburn, because they hurt, we should be talking about when to go in the shade instead of when to lather up. We have also been able to significantly restore ozone depletion which let in harmful levels of radiation from the atmosphere... Does the Environmental Working Group talk about which sunscreens will not contribute to coral bleaching? This has become a major issue of our time and most people do not even realize it is due to the sunscreens we use... and reapply... and reapply while at the beach. It would be like putting sunscreen on your flowers...
