Residents say the containers are bad for the environment and are taking their stance for 'moral reasons'. The decision was made yesterday at a public meeting in Bundanoon in Australia. Instead of buying plastic bottles of water, anyone with a thirst will be encouraged to take a reusable container to a free water fountain in the high street. A town has taken the unprecedented step of banning plastic water bottles.
