We cosleep and breastfeed almost all night using the side-lying postion. Which means she sleeps on her side almost all the time.

Come to think of it, when we brought her home she was on an apnea monitor and had pretty bad reflux. She either slept on my chest (kinda tilted off to the side in the crook of my arm) or on her back propped up on my arm.

When she does sleep alone (or while NOT breastfeeding) she sleeps on her back, and sometimes tilted a bit on her side. She absolutely hates being on her stomach.

She was a NICU baby, and they propped her up on her side for 5 weeks (she had reflux problems, and being on her side helped...specially when she spit-up). They did put her on her stomach for tummy-time, and let her sleep like that pretty often...though that postion did not stick with her.
