Personally, I use Furoshiki wrapping for gifts and re-use paper that has not been torn too badly for wrapping gifts. I try to hold on to things for a long time and not toss things aside. I try to repair things first. Many Americans live a disposable life and just replace broken items before trying to repair them – and they just may end up using this Santa Sack for 1 Christmas and then forget about it. If you are someone that just tosses things aside then you shouldn’t even bother.

These bags are for the person who really makes an effort to make a difference and cherishes the little things.

I have the same of the same Christmas decorations and stockings that I had as a child 30 years ago, plus I have ornaments that have been passed down through the generations.

I was taught from the start that life shouldn’t be disposable.

The type of person that uses these bags understands that.

So maybe PureMothers, if you would consider tossing this bag, you aren’t as green as you claim to be.

That Santa Sack is just another thing that will get tossed aside. Here is consumerism and greenwashing at its best. Nice that it’s organic cotton – but I would rather spend my dollars on an actual gift with longevity for my child. The accoutrements of the holidays are usually cute – but have a short life span. Not very green.

I’m not going that far, because I’m not the parent. But my younger niece, nephew, and 3 cousins I buy Christmas gift for are getting them in fabric bags that can be used to store the gifts. Older Niece, Sis, and Brother in law it will depend on what I get them. I usually get some type of experience GS instead of things for them.
