Basic Cranberry Sauce
Over medium heat in a saucepan heat:
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups organic sugar
Stir occasionally and boil for five minutes. Add:
- 4 cups fresh, organic cranberries
- 1 Tablespoon grated orange peel
Return to boil until cranberries pop (about five minutes). Cool and refrigerate for at least three hours.
