An Eco Child’s Play Donation: The Children’s Defense Fund

It is time for another Eco Child’s Play donation on behalf of our readers and writers.  This month, I have selected the Children’s Defense Fund for a small contribution.

The Children’s Defense Fund’s Leave No Child Behind^® mission is to ensure every child a Healthy Start, a Head Start, a Fair Start, a Safe Start, and a Moral Start in life and successful passage to adulthood with the help of caring families and communities.

Ensure Every Child and Pregnant Woman Access to Affordable, Seamless, Comprehensive Health and Mental Health Coverage and Services

Provide High Quality Early Childhood Development Programs for All

Ensure Every Child Can Read at Grade Level by Fourth Grade and Guarantee Quality Education through High School Graduation

Protect Children from Abuse and Neglect and Connect Them to Caring Permanent Families

Stop the Criminalization of Children at Increasingly Younger Ages and Invest in Prevention and Early Intervention
