The United Nations Educational, Scientific & Cultural Organization (UNESCO) teamed up with designers, teachers, and technicians from more than 15 nations to develop Bamboo Collection toys, smart toys made from natural bamboo.
Bamboo-indigenous to many countries-is an extremely fast growing giant grass that is easily renewable when harvested. This new use of bamboo will provide stimulus for economic growth & support for many people across the globe.

We’ve reviewed the sustainable Contina bamboo blocks previously by Bamboo Collection. Now, courtesy of Fat Brain Toys, we’ve been playing with the Colora game. Colora is game that promotes logical thinking, spatial relationships, color recognition, pattern building, geometry, and sequencing. These magnetic mosiac bamboo tiles come in square and triangular shapes that can be combined to create pictures, wave effects, and whatever your child can imagine. I love that the tiles and board are magnetic, as these pieces don’t get lost all over the house. It also makes the toy a great one for traveling.
I really like Bamboo Collection toys and look forward to exploring more of their line.
