When Alison Rothwell’s youngest daughter developed severe baby eczema, she searched for eczema-friendly baby clothing.
Rothwell observed when she wore organic cotton baby clothing, it helped relieve her eczema. After she outgrew her organic babywear, Rothwell shopped for funky organic kids clothing and couldn’t find any she fancied. So the UK-based Rothwell decided to create her own and Arabella Miller was born.

The company is now celebrating the launch of its first organic newborn baby clothing collection. Arabella
Miller certified organic clothing for children includes baby blankets, hats and t-shirts; dresses; kids’ t-shirts; long sleeve tops, rompers, sleepwear and trousers.
The clothing is certified organic by the Soil Association which means the organic cotton clothing can be traced back to the field where the cotton was picked.
Says Rothwell:
“We take our ethical commitments as serious as our style. We have our own ethical and environmental policy and ethical credentials have been independently approved by Ethical Junction. We also support the environmental charity “Buglife” through the global alliance One Per Cent For The Planet. This means we contribute 1% of our turnover to help make the world a better place.”
