I Hate Writing a Negative Review

But here goes.

I was sent a sample of Eco Store’s Automatic Dishwashing Soap, and I almost fell over when the box arrived. Peanuts, it was packed to the brim in packing peanuts.

I don’t even know what to say. I was (and am) startled that a company who wanted to be sustainable would ship in a packaging that will outlast my Great Grandchildren. What’s worse is this.

I love the product.

That’s right, I am absolutely dazzled by the performance of the dishwashing powder.

Previously, I’d  thought that my dishwasher was a dud, becuase my dishes required so much attention. For the first load with the new cleanser I took these steps:

• Rinsed all dishes in hot water
• Carefully loaded the dishwasher
• Used two full tablespoons of powder
• Ran the dishwasher on the pots and pans cycle

I was rewarded with sparkly dishes.
Round Two I decided that maybe my dishwasher didn’t suck, and maybe this cleanser is great. I took the following steps:

• Scraped the plates
• Loaded the dishwasher
• Used two full tablespoons of powder
• Ran the dishwasher on a normal cycle

Guess what? Clean dishes.

Last night I ran a third load of dishes, I used about a tablespoon and a half of soap, a short wash and skipped the drying cycle entirely. Clean dishes again, and there’s no chemical odor.

I am so impressed with this product.
Unfortunately, I can’t recommend them until they ship in a reasonable manner.
