Hi,
I just wanted to comment on your review about Growums. I was wondering if you went through the entire experience because the information contains PhD level gardening content in children’s level experience. A seed pack generally costs somewhere between $1-$2 per vegetable or herb, so an entire garden is likely to cost more than our product. The tags and pellets would also ad to the experience and then finally it is a fact that children’s retention as it relates to learn is much higher through cartoons and experience as you have stated then anything, so we have just merely combined them. Our goal as a company is not to trick kids into buying junk, it is to teach kids to grow and eat healthier food. We also help others whereby almost 10% of what we earn as a company goes to help needy children, so every garden or Growums product someone buys from us actually helps another child somewhere. Perhaps our message in the learning needs help and I woul love to hear suggestions so others do not feel as though they are being tricked. Completing the entire experience is a key. I look forward to hearing back from you. Thank you.
oh, I never used the word “trick”, and I do not feel that is what you are trying to do. I was just advocating for a more simple approach to teaching gardening; however, if a family does not already know how to grow food, this product may be a good catalyst.
Hi, Jennifer
We are writing you to introduce you to Christine Barlow, a female airline pilot whose “flight plan” changed dramatically when her premature son’s health conditions inspired her to develop a healthy solution against environmental toxin intake. Born with a birth defect she believes was a result of environmental causes, Christine dedicated 5 years of grueling research to develop her Revolutionary BPA-free Hybrid GLASS Baby Bottle, a 2011 JPMA Innovation Product Award Winner.
Will you take a moment to consider this incredible woman’s story and help us get the word out about people who really make a difference in other’s lives?

Thank you so much for your consideration. Your time is truly appreciated.

Dear Jennifer,
With my brother we are working on an interactive children’s story for the iPad: Children of the Elements. It is an educational App hand-painted on 40 screens, addressing the topic of sustainability, teaching children and parents about the fragile eco-system of our planet. It is an interactive App which, working from a story, leads the reader to choices of action.
Its campaign has launched on Kickstarter recently.
We are no famous and have no publisher behind us. We are just two people dedicated and determined about their project.
Please have a look, and If you find it trustworthy, we would be honored if you decided to publish a review on the site or in your newsletter. It would be of tremendous help to us as well, to reach people possibly interested and wanting to support the project to be finished.
If you have another idea, let us know, we are open to cooperation.
