Thank you to everyone that particpated in our forum discussion on breastfeeding and entering our Mother’s Milk Giveaway. Many wonderful stories and experiences were shared, and the discussion highlights how unique breastfeeding is between each mother and child. Here are our Socktopus winners:
Andrea K: “I nursed my son for 18 months. My daughter is nearly 23 months and shows no signs of stopping!”
Jennifer: “My daughter is 23 months, was a champion nurser from the start, and is still nursing. Actually, I have been trying to talk her into nursing less during the day (she asks for “mo” constantly). I read the first post yesterday and told her my milk is broken this morning (after trying to reason with her for an hour) and she looked at me and said “oh” and totally dropped it!”
The winner of the organic nesting pillow from Bambino Land:
Annie: “For some people breastfeeding comes very easily and effortless but NOT for me. I got off to a rough start with Samuel. I tried to start reading The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding before I had Samuel, but it didn’t hold my interest because it was all completely foreign to me. No one in my family breastfed, so I had no experience even being around it.”
