Made in the USA: Blessed Nest Organic Buckwheat Nursing Pillow

blessed nest organic nursing pillowI have breastfed two children, and I never had a nursing pillow.  In fact, I was pretty much anti-baby stuff and tried to minimize the infant paraphernalia in my little cabin. No changing table, no boppy pillow, no bouncy chair, etc. entered my home, as I wanted to save money, space, and my impact on the earth for these items whose usage would be short lived.  Had I seen the organic Blessed Nest Nesting Pillow, my attitude towards nursing pillows would have been different.

The Blessed Nest Nesting Pillow is made in the USA, like many of the items available from Bambino Land.  It is 100% organic!  The washable slipcover is made from 100% organic cotton, and the inside of the pillow is filled with 100% organic buckwheat hulls. What I like best about the Blessed Nest Nesting Pillow is that you can mold it to any shape you need to support your nursing baby and your body, your younger child holding your baby, propping your infant up, etc.  Unlike a Boppy, which is rigid and I could never figure out how to use properly, the Blessed Nest Nesting Pillow provides just enough flexible support. I really wish I would have had this pillow when nursing my son after his open heart surgery, instead of the four hospital pillows the nurses tried to arrange for me.

Bambino Land sponsored our Mother’s Milk giveaway of a Blessed Nest Nesting Pillow.  Bambino Land offers eco-friendly, natural, organic products from around the world. Bambino Land also believes in social responsibilty and supports Ghar Sita Mutu, a home for abandoned children, training programs for women, and an outreach program for needy families in Kathmandu, Nepal.  Social responsibility and organic products makes Bambino Land a company I am happy to support.
