I’ve been a fan of California Baby products for quite some time. That said, I’m always on the lookout for other options as well. It doesn’t hurt to have a little variety in ones life!
We’ve recently stumbled upon Little Twig, a natural body & bath care line.
“Children mean the world to us, and the world means everything to our children. That is why little twig products are developed with the advice of pediatricians and real-life parents. At little twig we want to provide families with a safe and natural bath time alternative. We utilize the most effective organic and botanical ingredients in our simple recipe for pure and gentle personal care. Each product is an example of our commitment to quality, and that is why we completely guarantee each product.”- From the Little Twig website.
This fabulous line of products includes; shampoo, body wash, bubble bath, diaper cream, powder, baby oil and bodymilks in yummy scents like tangerine and lavender. There are also ultra mild, unscented options available.
All ingredients for each product can be found online. I really appreciate when ingredients can be found easily as my children have serious chemical reactions and skin sensitivities. It is also vitally important to know if a product we put on our children’s skin or hair contains an allergen like nuts, wheat or soy.
Another point that sets Little Twig apart is their container recycling program. When you return three full size product containers for recycling, you will receive 30% off your next online purchase. That is an amazing discount!

I researched the Little Twig line prior to opening Lundeby’s Eco Baby and for the most part they are okay. However, when one compares their ingredients to Earth Mama Angel Baby products they no longer seem so pure. Especially disturbing is the Phenoxyethanol in the body milk. Environmental Working Group’s Skin Deep Database has not yet rated Little Twig; however they list Phenoxyethanol as being neurtoxic and linked to immunotoxicity and allergic reactions at moderate doses and other ingredients have some mild precautions. This being said, I am not a huge fan of most California Baby products either. That is what happens when you become addicted to Skin Deep Database http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/index.php.
