Eco-Artware is full of fun and functionally “green” products. Most of their items are handcrafted from recycled materials but these handy little bamboo eating utensils are made from all new bamboo and perfect for parents or anyone that often eats on the go.
Stash them in your purse, your car your backpack or even a diaper bag for you or your kids to use while out instead of plastic throw away silverware.
Artist Stephanie Bernstein loves to create functional eco-friendly products that are easy to use and waste free. I think she’s created a winner with the bamboo utensils.
The set of four utensils ( a knife, fork, spoon and set of chopsticks) come in a handy little avocado green cloth carrying pouch with a clip, so you can attach it to your strap or belt loop for quick access. Even the cloth pouch is eco-friendly…it’s made from recycled plastic bottles.
The bamboo set of utenisls make a great gift (Father’s Day is coming or grad gifts) or a great item to pack for summer camping trips.
Grab a set for each family member. At $10 a set they are pretty cheap and will last a long time since bamboo is heat and stain resistant.

Be careful about bamboo! How is the bamboo glued together and compressed! It takes a lot of energy to compress bamboo. And if it’s young bamboo being used, then it IS soft and not as durable as older bamboo.

I have a set of these utensils [in a different holder, but from the same company]. I keep the holder in my tote bag so I can use them whenever I’m out. They seem very sturdy, and are smooth [not rough wood like ‘disposable’ chopsticks]. I really like them.
