Organic Kidz Stainless Baby Bottles

Even as a fulltime breastfeeder, I would have been tempted to have one of these adorable, functional, and safe baby bottles tucked into my cupboard.

I’m a big fan of stainless water vessels (every member of our family has their own Klean Kanteen), so it seems a natural addition to also trade out plastic baby bottles for the stainless variety (or maybe I’m just a sucker for polka dots).

These bottles from Organic Kidz come in boy and girl prints (some of which I think are gender neutral) and are available in 4, 7 and 9 ounce sizes.  The cap is a two ounce measuring cup, which is nice for diluting or mixing commercial formula.  Stainless bottles are easy for heating and cooling (and since metal cannot be microwaved, there is less concern about hot spots in formula or killing nutrients in breastmilk).

The bottles are free of BPA, PVC and phthalates and fit most narrow necked nipples. A bottle will run you about $20.00, but just the peace of mind that comes with knowing a well meaning Grandma can’t nuke babies breastmilk is worth it! If you are looking for a fun baby shower gift which is sure to please and not be a duplicate, this is one for you.
