Anamalz have to be my favorite wooden toys!  Each animal has its own personality, and the design aesthetics are superb!  We were sent two toys from the zoo and prehistoric characters collection:

Anamalz use formaldehyde free glue and minimal packaging. Even the waste wood is used on a farm to grow mushrooms. Anamalz horns are made with fda approved tpr combined with pine wood powder. This product was developed by anamalz and is an eco alternative to plastic.

Would I buy this product?  Probably not the varieties that contain the maltodextrin.  I can see the convenience of dried baby food and the benefits; however, fresh is always best.

SINCE 1374, THE FLYING CAULDRON HAS BEEN MAKING THIS MAGICAL BREW FOR UNDER AGED WIZARDS AND WIZARDS WHO ARE YOUNG AT HEART AT THEIR BREW PUB IN HOGSBREATH ENGLAND.

The recipe has changed little over the centuries. It has the perfect combination of spells and quality natural ingredients. It continues to be prized for its creamy vanilla and butterscotch flavors.

Some wizards claim that this brew places a ward of protection on those who drink it and that consuming this product has been known to accelerate wizarding abilities in borderline wizard cases.

This soda does taste a lot like butterscotch. It reminds me of a cream soda, which it is.  It would be so much fun to serve at a child’s party. It is sweetened with stevia and sugar. It is gluten-free.

Would I buy this product? Probably for a treat but not on a regular basis. This magical brew is not organic, and I am on the fence about stevia. Butterscotch beer sure is a fun novelty item that is essential for any Harry Potter fan.

4. 3-in-1 Potty Seat

Toilet learning can be an anxious time for toddlers and parents, as there is nothing better than being free of diapers, whether cloth or landfill/disposable.  As unique as my children are in personality, so were their toilet learning experiences.  For my daughter, the [amazon_link id=”B000056J7L” target=”_blank” ]Baby Bjorn potty chair[/amazon_link] was her special place.  For my son, he wanted nothing to do with a small plastic potty and went straight to the grown up potty.

Would I buy this product?  No.  There isn’t anything eco-friendly about it other than the use of natural baking soda.  It’s a lot of plastic!  Sure, versatility and multi-functionality are good for the Earth; however, the time a child really needs a plastic potty, if at all, is very brief.   Greener versions are available, such as this wooden potty chair or bamboo trainer seat.

5. Mrs. Rose sweater

We are super excited about Krimson Klover!  Not only are these “knits with a twist” fashionable, the company takes their “commitment to environmental and social responsibility very seriously by using yarns from sources that respect their animals, employees and Mother Earth”.

We were sent a luxurious Mrs. Rose sweater to try.  This washable merino wool is super soft and comfortable. There is no itch at all giving you the freedom to wear whatever (or nothing at all) underneath it.  The knitting is of high quality, and I love how the buttons do not go all the way to the bottom of the sweater giving it a more fashionable design.  The bold design works beautifully giving the sweater an overall chic, graphic aesthetic.  The Mrs. Rose would make a perfect gift for Mom!
