When it comes to being a mom, efficiency and practicality is everything. That is why coconut oil is such a great tool for mothers everywhere. Coconut oil has a multitude of uses and is an inexpensive product, making it a must have for busy moms everywhere. Here are just some of the great uses that come from coconut oil:
Weight Loss: While coconut oil might have a high fat content and saturated fat, this special tropical vegetable oil is proven to help when it comes to weight loss and proper digestion. Coconut oil boosts your metabolism, gives you more energy, and improves your thyroid function, making it a great tool for single mothers.
Sore Nipples: Not only can coconut oil have great uses when it’s consumed, but when applied to sore areas on your body, the oil can heal and relieve pain. While breast feeding is beautiful, it does not come without immense pain. However, coconut oil can easily remedy sore nipples by just applying a tiny amount around each nipple. If you do this after every feeding, soon enough, breastfeeding will be a painless experience, giving you more time to bond with your baby instead of dreading the future pain.
Diaper Rashes: Just as coconut oil is great for healing any sore for moms, it’s a great tool to use for a baby’s diaper rash as well. Rub the rash with coconut oil 2-3 times a day and it will not only heal faster, but the soothing powers of the coconut oil will help your baby feel much better, making you feel better as well.
Yeast Infection: Yeast infections are one of the most common ailments for both mothers and newborns. Coconut oil is great for treating this problem as it is an antifungal and antibacterial. Use this great natural treatment for you or your baby and you will feel better in no time.
Coconut oil is a great and natural product that can help with common ailments that mothers and their children face. Moreover, it smells great too!

I certainly believe in the medicinal and nutritional benefits of coconut oil. However, I’m uncertain what single motherhood has to do with the benefits listed in the 2nd paragraph. Nor do I agree that “breastfeeding comes with immense pain”. To imply so, turns off many future mothers from trying to breastfeed in the first place.
