Organic Baby Care: Oh My DeVita Baby Shampoo & Body Wash

GMO-free

Even though my son is now nine-years-old, I still use baby shampoos and body washes on him. He has very sensitive skin, and I trust these products designed for infants not to cause a negative reaction.

We were recently sent two varieties of “oh so gentle” shampoo and body wash by DeVita:

[amazon_link id=”B00HGEFQOS” target=”_blank” ]Oh My DeVita Baby Bubbly Babies Bodywash and Shampoo, Calming Calendula[/amazon_link][amazon_link id=”B00HGEFQDE” target=”_blank” ] and Oh My DeVita Baby Bubbly Babies Bodywash and Shampoo, Fragrance Free[/amazon_link]

  • 2 in 1 shampoo and body wash, tear free formula.  No harsh detergents or chemical fragrances. Gentle on your baby’s delicate skin, and yours too!

  • Organic Aloe Vera base, which is a favorite natural base for almost all DeVita products, with its natural anti-inflammatory, moisturizing, and anti-microbial properties.

  • FREE from Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, with no irritants or 1, 4-dioxanes contamination. We use only natural plant based Soapwort to make bubbles.

  • Naturally derived Essential Oils that do more than just smell good!  For thousands of years naturally derived Essential Oils have been used for their calming and soothing properties as well as natural antibacterial support.

  • Available in Fragrance Free (for the most sensitive skin) or Calming Calendula formulations. Calendula has been used for centuries for it’s soothing, calming and skin support properties.

I always look for baby soaps that are free of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, as even though many companies consider this coconut-derived sudsy substance natural, it is actually quite harsh and what my son’s skin reacts to the most.  1, 4-dioxanes are also a concern, as this is the ingredient found in many “organic” shampoos that is listed on the labels.

Oh my devita Baby products contain some organic ingredients, are GMO-free,and free of nanotechnology thankfully!

My only criticism of this product is that our samples were shipped in a box of styrofoam peanuts.  I hate styrofoam peanuts, and I do not think they should be used in any situation.

Disclosure: The products described above were sent to us as free samples. Prior assurances as to the nature of the reviews, whether positive or negative, were not given. No financial payments were accepted in exchange for the reviews. The reviews reflect our honest, authentic opinions.
