Activities to Include for a Great Stag Weekend

ID-1003127Activities to Include for a Great Stag Weekend

A weekend with the boys is something that friends don’t get to do often. When you do have the chance, make the absolute best of it. It’s perfectly okay to get rambunctious and act a little crazy.

Select activities as a group so that everyone is able to have fun. A few may prefer one activity and some might want to do other things. Compromise with your group of pals and try something new.

If you have wives or girlfriends, they will likely want your itinerary. For this purpose, plan the weekend carefully. Catching an ear full is never the way you want to return home after a weekend away.

Beer Pong Tournament

Beer pong is more about skill than it is luck. You need to have just the right angle and just enough push to get the ball in the cup. There are standard rules, but you can feel free to make up your own.

Some of the rules of beer pong include:

A six or eight foot table

Regular ping pong balls

Lightweight plastic cups filled ½ way with water

10 cups per side

When you make a cup, the other team takes a drink

No bouncing

No deflecting shots

Drinks do not have to be alcoholic

Variations to any of these rules, other than the number of cups, can be made. The key to the game is, take tiny sips of beer if you choose to play with alcohol. Learn when to cut people off so that table injuries don’t occur.

Afternoon of Karting

Upon recovering from a hangover from the night before, spend the afternoon karting. A karting stag party is just what the doctor ordered to settle that bet of who the best driver is. Some facilities hold specific stag night events.

With your group of buddies, try to pick another group of guys to beat. This makes the afternoon or evening even more fun. A little competition is just enough to get the adrenaline flowing.

Rent Sports Cars

A sports car is the dream of many men. It’s often far out of the budget. There is nothing wrong with renting a couple for the weekend.

Take them out on the open road and see how well they perform. Don’t forget to take the insurance.  If you have a minor accident, a sports car is an expensive fix.

Go Climbing

This is something that few people experience due to the height. The fear of heights plagues people from seeing some of the world’s natural beauties. Schedule a training class first.

In many areas, climbing expeditions can be done as a group event. Grab some gear from a sporting goods store and get ready for a sky view. You might need a pair of climbing shoes too.

Check out a Few Clubs

As long as you remember that you are taken, clubbing is perfectly okay on a stag weekend. Stick together as a group and watch each other’s backs. Don’t let a friend forget about that wedding ring and make a huge mistake.

Clubs can be fun for just letting loose and having a few drinks while discussing guy stuff. It is also the ideal opportunity to discuss personal things too. There is no shame in asking for advice or discussing troubles among your friends.

Look up a few clubs in the area you’re visiting and decide on one or two top rated ones. A club that has a restaurant nearby is ideal. Food is generally a need after a few drinks.

An option that is in close proximity to the hotel is also ideal. In case you spend too much, being within walking distance is a good idea.

Find the Best Pizza

Everyone has their own idea of what the best pizza is. This is one debate that will at least be delicious. Make it a point to visit most of the pizzerias in a small area.

You’ll want to keep the samplings simple. A plain cheese or pepperoni pizza is the best option. If a shop has a signature pizza, it doesn’t hurt to try that one too. In moderation, pizza can be healthy.

Enjoy your stag weekend. Do things that the wife or girlfriend isn’t interested in. This is your chance to let loose and do what you love to do.

If you are married or in a relationship, don’t forget the other half exists. Return texts when you can. It’s also a good idea to call once a day.

Women have Girl’s Night Out; men have Stag Nights and weekends. For the most part, what happens on those outings stays on those outings. The goal is to have fun, stay faithful and don’t get arrested. Phoning from jail is the best way to find yourself adapting to single life all over again.
