Keep baby happily asleep in the stroller, in the car, or on the plane – thanks to the unique, fold-down mask that blocks out light. EFFECTIVE Baby falls asleep and gets restful sleep with our Sleepy Hat because the flip-down mask blocks out light and visual stimulation. For all people, including babies, light signals the time to awaken–and long, restful sleep occurs in the dark. Designed with safety in mind, this hat is breathable, super soft, 100% organic cotton–so that you can feel good about putting it over your baby’s delicate skin and eyes. Made in North Carolina.

The world’s only dishwasher-safe tumblers made from corn.

•No BPA or phthalates

 •Made from corn, not petroleum

 •Made in USA

As a mom, I know ordinary plastic is a useful material. But I’m also worried about what it’s doing to our kids and our planet. Most plastic leaches toxic chemicals like BPA and phthalates into our food. And it’s made from petroleum, a non-renewable resource we have a nasty habit of fighting wars over.

We’re proud to offer a smart alternative: dishes made from corn, a sustainable resource. They look, feel, and hold up just like ordinary plastic. But they’re safer for our kids and safer for the environment. Now you can serve grilled cheese and the planet at the same time!

I am amazed by this bioplastic!  It is made in the USA and is superior quality. It will biodegrade in two to three years too!

Why is your bioplastic better than ordinary plastic?

Our bioplastic comes from corn grown here in the USA, a renewable resource. Ordinary plastic comes from oil and natural gas, fossil fuels that are not renewable. Our bioplastic fully biodegrades in 2 to 3 years when buried in soil, immersed in water, home composted, or composted in industrial facilities. Ordinary plastic takes up to 500 years to degrade, and even then it only breaks down into tiny particles that are toxic to wildlife and the environment. Our bioplastic is BPA-free. Most ordinary plastic isn’t. And yet our bioplastic looks, feels, and holds up just like ordinary plastic.

I’ve been on a plastic-free rant for many years, but this bioplastic makes me rethink my stance. It is possible to make plastic products responsibly.  I love these dishes.  I don’t think you need a toddler to enjoy them. They are perfect for camping and beach parties.

The hat is super adorable too!
