I am not sure how effective online petitions are; however, I continue to sign them in good faith. Today, I signed the new online petition from the Sierra Club regarding the ban on lead in kid's jewelry. It appears this is a new petition from the Sierra Club, but it is similar to a previous one. In my previous post "Ban on Lead in Kid's Jewelry in the Works", I wrote about the dangers of lead in kid's jewelry. I just don't understand how anyone would think putting lead in a child's toy is a good ... continue reading...
Wear Your Baby!
A common complaint of new parents is that they can't get anything done. Baby wearing is the solution! Worried the chocolate would not arrive in time, I found these sweet heart shaped fairy chimes and ladybug chocolates from Magic Cabin. I had hoped the chocolate ladybugs were the ... continue reading...

One dentist explained that when we sleep, we produce less saliva in order that we don't choke on the saliva while we sleep. Saliva protects our teeth, thus nighttime nursing creates a situation where ... continue reading...
