Whimisical Wooden Instruments

Although I am not a musician, I believe it is important to provide children with musical instruments for their play. Many of the oral muscles used in playing these instruments are necessary for speech development. Exhaling through an instrument is great practice for making sounds such as /h/. My daughter’s first instruments were the wooden recorder and harmonica from Magic Cabin. Fours years later, these instruments are still played on a weekly basis, and when given a choice, she has given these quality wooden instruments for gifts. Children are attracted to the beautiful colors on the instruments, and since they are made of wood, the music produced from them is not annoying to adults. Magic Cabin’s Colorful Wooden Instruments
icon are made in the Philippines and are real instruments, not toys.
