Rosie Hippo: Earth Friendly, Unique and Handmade Toys

Monkeys from RosieHippo.comRosie Hippo offers parents a place to shop for unique, handmade, organic, fair trade and eco-friendly toys.

They have toys made of wood, made of fair trade materials, they have stuffed animals, pretend play toys, and everything you need to spark your child’s imagination and give them something safe to play with.

My little guy loves monkeys, absolutely adores them and Rosie Hippo has the cutest handcrafted, fair trade monkeys. They are so adorable. In fact, they are so cute my little guy did not want to share and give the pretty pink and charcoal one to his big sister. He was determined to keep them both. He finally caved and gave her the pink one but he keeps stealing it back.

They also have the Sandsac, an eco-alternative to plastic sand buckets. The Sandsac is a heavy-duty canvas bucket bag that comes with non-toxic markers so the kids can decorate it. It also comes with a bamboo spoon (shovel).

My kids snagged it, drew on it and hauled it off to the sandbox but I can see using the Sandsac as a styling tote bag. You can stencil designs on it and have a very unique bag. And it comes in three sizes. I think we have the small. I would love to get the large one and use it as a carry-all bag. Now that’s a heavy-duty bag that could hold some stuff.

I am making a list of toys at Rosie Hippo that my kids might be getting for Christmas. They have the cutest things. The little stuffed lambs are sooo cute and I want the stuffed turtles. You’ll have to check it out to see what I mean, they have an awesome selection. It’ll make you want to be a kid again.

Those monkeys are indeed adorable!! I’m tempted to get them for nieces & nephews, but I’m worried I might want to keep them!

Thank you for this article! It’s very important for children to play with eco-friendly toys. I want to see what they offer but the site doesn’t work…
