Did you check the packing peanuts? You’re probably aware there are biodegradable varieties available now (I’ve been able to dump some in my compost bin). You can tell the difference by running water on one; if it dissolves, it can be composted. I’d rather have biodegradable pseudo-styrofoam than the plastic bags of air that Amazon uses.
Yes, I am aware of those biodegradable ones. These were not.
