Easy Oil-Free Potato Chippies

Easy Oil-Free Potato Chippies

Yummmmm, potatoes.  These oil-free potato chippies are healthy, oil-free, delicious, and baked, NOT fried.  They taste like french fries, only better.  Fried foods are one of the few foods I try to avoid eating because  I hate the way they make me feel and the taste honestly is not my favorite either.  These go great with a veggie burger, rice and veggies, or even on their own!

Easy Oil-Free Potato Chippies

Potatoes are a great food because they are affordable, store basically forever for a vegetable, fairly low in calories, and are a good source of vitamin b6, potassium, copper, vitamin c, and much more.

Easy Oil-Free Potato Chippies

These oil-free potato chippies make a perfect go to dinner with only 5 minutes of prep time(just cutting the potatoes) and baking.  They are even worth turning on the oven in the summer!

Ingredients
  1. 3-4 potatoes(russet, golden, whatever)
  2. 1 tsp paprika
  3. 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  4. 1 tsp nutritional yeast
  5. 1 tsp no salt seasoning
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 420 degrees F and cut potatoes into wedges about 1/2 inch thick
  2. Sprinkle with seasonings place potatoes on a baking sheet, skin side down. Bake for 35-40 minutes, depending on how crispy you like them.
Notes
  1. I would recommend cutting the potatoes on the thinner side because they will cook faster and get crispier.
