How often do you make homemade cinnamon rolls, biscuits, or pie crust?

Do you make homemade cinnamon rolls?

Do you make homemade cinnamon rolls?

I have a weakness for cinnamon rolls.  I was reminded of this weakness when I saw La Mama Naturale’s picture of her birthday breakfast with homemade cinnamon rolls.  In truth, I have not found a recipe for cinnamon rolls I like, plus they are very time consuming to make. What I have found are [amazon_link id=”B00CHTWRJ4″ target=”_blank” ]Immaculate Bakings Cinnamon Rolls[/amazon_link]!  They are divine and vegan, although not organic (though their cookies are)!

Nothing says “good morning” better than the smell of cinnamon rolls baking in the kitchen. Enjoy these treats with or without the included icing for a decadent treat. Ingredients: Cinnamon roll: Unbleached, unbromated wheat flour (enriched with niacin, iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), water, palm fruit oil beta carotene (natural color) and canola oil, sugar, leavening (sodium acid pyrophosphate, baking soda), cinnamon, potassium chloride, wheat starch, salt, cultured wheat starch, natural flavor (corn and/or soybean oil, milk), citric acid, vegetable mono and diglycerides, xanthan gurm, annatto (natural color). Vanilla icing: powdered sugar (sugar, corn starch), sugar, water, corn syrup, canola and palm fruit oils, salt, vegetable mono and diglycerides, xanthan, locust bean and guar gums, natural flavor. Contains wheat, soy and milk.

These are definitely a treat and not something I would feed to family regularly.  Also, if you have a good cinnamon roll recipe, please refer me to it!

I have also tried a few other Immaculate Baking products, thanks to coupons they sent. Both of these products are also very convenient:

  • [amazon_link id=”B00CHTTG4I” target=”_blank” ]Immaculate Baking Natural Butter Milk Biscuit[/amazon_link]
  • [amazon_link id=”B00CHTXBGC” target=”_blank” ]Immaculate Baking All Natural Pie Crust[/amazon_link]

I do make biscuits more than cinnamon rolls, but its been years even for those.  The Immaculate Baking ones are very rich and delicious. They are just as decadent as the cinnamon rolls.

For me, I find it sacrilege to buy a pre-made pie crust…they aren’t that hard to make.  My neighbor has started buying them, so I decided to give the Immaculate Baking one a try.  It is quite convenient, as all their other products, and I see how it will inspire me to make more pies, especially savory ones for dinner.

I can’t say these are the healthiest products, but they are damn good!  They are a treat, like anything else.  My kids get excited to see me bring them home. Of course, they are part of the Non-GMO project, so you can feel safe serving them to your family when you are not inspired to make homemade.

They also make some gluten-free products too!

In 2013, Immaculate Baking joined General Mills, a company that has opposed state-based GMO-labeling initiatives.  This does taint my image of the company.

Disclosure: The products described above were sent to us as free samples. Prior assurances as to the nature of the reviews, whether positive or negative, were not given. No financial payments were accepted in exchange for the reviews. The reviews reflect our honest, authentic opinions.
